Painted during my ongoing residency at Oxcombe Pottery and farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds. I had just returned from a sketching session at one of the ponds when I saw this wonderful view. While I sketched there I heard a yellowhammer calling, the first of many I heard during my month painting and exhibiting there in June 2023.
